Tina Fey as Sarah Palin on SNL from tonight.
For the most part, Fey was just repeating verbatim stuff Palin actually said during the CBS interview, which is a pretty helpful reminder of how Palin is basically a skit without the “thank god this is only a skit” part.
The only bright side if McCain wins (God forbid!) is SNL skits. Tina Fey’s impression is brilliant, and I love Poehler’s incessant blinking and skeptical looks. Next week should be excellent with debate(s). But, Fey said it best, “I want to be done playing this lady November 5th. So, if anyone can help me be done playing her on November 5th…” Don’t worry Tina, we’re working hard!
