I get to see this lovable mutt today.  His name is Rocky. Because he’s vicious. DUH.   So vicious, in fact, that he’s afraid of a mouse in his home, is on anxiety meds, and can’t be left alone.  But put a window between him and the chipmunks in the yard, and he is a BEAST. I also get to see his mama, my best friend’s mom whom I’ve adopted as my own.  I even call her Mom.  Don’t judge. If your mother was like mine, you’d go looking for a substitute, too.  Just don’t tell my real mom about this, kay?

So, the London option.

I have never actually been to London although I have threatened to move there on several occasions because I have the colonial’s love of a plummy accent.  I am told, however, that late November is not exactly prime season.

I’ve been to London twice, and both times were in December.  Maybe it was the Christmas decorations, but although it was freezing cold, it was still beautiful.  Here are my photos from last year and from three years ago if you want to see what it looks like.  I think you’d enjoy it.  There are also far fewer tourists than in the spring/summer, which is nice.
